I saw a bunch of great talks at FOSDEM 25 and I decided that I would submit a talk to FOSDEM 26 for the Community devroom. If you don't know, FOSDEM, held every year in the city of Brussels, brings open source enthusiasts from around the world to a weekend of talks, tables and technology. It's run by volunteers who do an incredible job keeping the conference on track and engaging. I wholeheartedly recommend the experience to other speakers who have something to say about the open source community.

My talk was "How the OpenSSL community was built on Heartbleed", which told the story of the worst day for the OpenSSL community that turned out to also be the best day. Thanks to the FOSDEM video team, the recording is now available on the event page along with my slides. Alternatively, you can watch it here:

As you watch, see if you can identify the secret word that Matt Caswell gave me to say at some point in my talk.
