Ways to give
Make a US tax deductible donation
OpenSSL Foundation is a fiscally sponsored project of Software in the Public Interest (SPI), a 501c3 organization. To make a US tax deductible donation, use the OpenSSL Foundation donation form provided through SPI or explore SPI’s other giving options.
Donate online
You can donate directly to OpenSSL Foundation by credit or debit card using our online donation form.
Give cryptocurrency
We accept a wide variety of cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies are received by our gift processing partner and immediately converted to cash. OpenSSL Foundation does not maintain its own cryptocurrency wallets.
Donate through Github Sponsors
Are you active on Github? If so, you can set up a one-time or monthly gift up to $12,000 USD using Github Sponsors.
Send a US bank transfer
A bank-to-bank transfer is the fastest way to send a donation with the lowest processing fees, allowing your donation to have the greatest impact. For bank transfers within the US, use our online donation form.
Send an international bank transfer
We can accept international bank transfers from most countries. Contact us for further instructions on making a transfer from your specific country.
