Cryptographic standards are moving fast. Post-quantum algorithms are being finalized, FIPS validation requirements are evolving, and real-world deployments are under pressure to keep pace. ICMC is where much of that conversation happens, and this year Tomáš Mráz will be there representing OpenSSL Foundation.
The International Cryptographic Module Conference (ICMC) runs April 20–23, 2026, in Arlington, Virginia. It's one of the few events that brings together cryptographers, compliance engineers, and government stakeholders in one room, making it a valuable opportunity to stay close to the standards and validation programs, like FIPS 140-3, that the OpenSSL Library's users depend on.
Tomáš will be available to meet with peers, partners, and contributors throughout the conference. If you're attending and want to talk about cryptography, compliance, or anything OpenSSL-related, reach out to Tomáš to set up a time.
