The Real World Crypto (RWC) Symposium will take place on March 9-11, 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan, and senior software engineer Igor Ustinov will be attending on behalf of OpenSSL Foundation.
RWC is one of the most important cryptography conferences in the world, bringing together researchers with developers who are implementing cryptography in real-world systems, like the OpenSSL Library. We last participated in RWC in 2018 when OpenSSL received the Levchin Prize in recognition of “dramatic improvements to the code quality of OpenSSL.”
We are excited to be participating again this year because this conference provides a unique opportunity for developers of cryptographic tools to become familiar with the cutting-edge results in theoretical cryptography without requiring a deep academic background. Also we are looking forward to new contacts with academics who are interested in the practical application of their research.
If you’ll be in Taipei and would like to meet up Igor, email him to find a time to connect.
